Wedding Gown
Do
I need an appointment?
Although we are happy to accept appointments, we do not require one.
You may either come in at your convenience or call for an appointment. If you'd
prefer to make an appointment, please call us at 586.3124 to reserve the
bridal dressing room.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you can, although we'd advise to bring one or two valued
opinions to help with your decision.
Can I take pictures in your store?
We encourage it! Please feel free to bring your camera.
Do you rent gowns?
Due to the delicate nature of fabrics, we do not rent gowns.
We offer a large selection of gowns with a broad range of prices. Please
let us know if there is a price range you would like to stay within.
We will happily accommodate your requests.
Ordering
When should I order my wedding gown?
It takes about 4-5 months for your gown to be made. We
recommend ordering 6 months prior to your wedding date to ensure your
dress is here and allow you time for alterations. If you do not
have that much time, let us know and we will be happy to discuss options
for your specific time frame.
What do I need to place an order?
To order, we require a 50% deposit. We can take Visa or
MasterCard over the phone. As well as payment, we ask for
professional measurements, done here in the store or at another formal
wear retailer.
Can you mail things to me?
We'd be happy to mail or ship gowns/shoes/accessories to you. Please
contact us for further help.
Do you accept returns?
We are unable to accept returns as our gown companies don't allow
for us to return or exchange gowns.
Can I get extra fabric?
Most companies allow for 1-3 yards of extra
fabric to be purchased with your order. Please contact us for
pricing.
Alterations
Are alterations included in the
price of your gowns?
No, the prices of our gowns do not include alterations because we do
not have a seamstress on staff. Each customer is responsible for
the payment of alterations. As a convenience, we have arranged for
a seamstress to take appointments in our store one day a week.
Where can I get alterations?
We do not employ an in-house seamstress. However, Annette
Piccirillo takes in-store appointments on Wednesdays for our customers.
She will give you an estimate before she begins. Her customers pay
her directly. Please call us to set-up an appointment.
What do alterations cost?
The price of alterations depends on how
significant the alterations are. During each alterations
appointment, the seamstress will give an estimate for that particular
dress.
Tux Measurements
My wedding party lives out-of-town, what's the best way to get their
measurements?
You're welcome to stop by the store for an Out-of-Town Tux Form that
your wedding party may take to any formalwear store for measurements.
They can then mail the card directly to us, call, or email us with their
measurements. A printable version is also available on our website
on the Tuxedo Rentals Page.
